Sorry to hear of Joseph’s passing. I have the pleasure of Double Thyme currently. She will be going into the shed in August for a few months for a refresh. She really is a beautiful boat and a credit to the builder.

I just caught this post by chance.
Sad to hear the news that Joseph has passed, my condolences to the family. He was a great help to me with understanding the boat.
Sad to say the time had come to part with her and she was sold last summer.

A sad day for Double Thyme as one of the brothers who built her, Joseph Kayll, died in December . He will be missed. Brother David Kayll.

Dear Gavin. Can’t remember if I replied to your questionnaire a while but but would just like follow up on the positive comments you received.
We really enjoyed the sailing , great conditions if a bit testing at times but very good racing in our class.
I feel the race management has improved significantly since our last outing in 2016.
Good courses, on time and sensibly finished near the ports. My only other comment is the VHF connection was very poor coming from Chico and made it difficult to hear announcements but I’m sure that’s easily fixed!
Look forward to 2023

Discussions in the Oban Sailing Club yesterday evening suggested that there should be another change to the Sailing Instructions as the Feeder Race from Oban to Craobh starting line is being changed to between the Oban Sailing Club flagpole and a mark laid for the purpose.
Is this correct?

Hi, I’ve emailed 3 times over 3 weeks without reply about classic yachts Freedom 44 , Cherubini 44. Also that I used to work in English Harbour, Antigua at the Tree House treating all the yachty’s aches, pains and sprains. it’s almost too late to organize anything about it now!!! Unless we’re quick.
